Temperature crosses 50 degree Celsius in Rajasthan

With the beginning of May, heat levels in India have begun to reach the unbearable mark in many places. In many cities, the mercury has crossed 45 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, the average temperature is expected to be more than 1 degree above normal this time. North India is expected to get more heat than normal. Apart from normal weather, there is a possibility of more drought in the region according to MeT report.

This mood of the weather was hit almost all over north India, but the worst case was in Vidarbha, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Heat breaks many years record

Meteorological Department has started to see the effect of this alert. In the cities of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, hot air is running and mercury is easily crossing 45. In the beginning of May, the heat has broken the record of last seven years in Jaipur. Where mercury reached near 45. Bikaner recorded a 13-year high where the maximum temperature was 45.7. In the month of May in Nagpur, the heat has broken the record of 10 years. Mercury in Nagpur has reached 46 degrees. At Bundi and Chandrapur in Rajasthan, the temperature has reached 47 degree.

Temperature crosses 50 degrees in Rajasthan

Hoshangabad is the hottest place in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Where the temperature was 45 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of Loo in Madhya Pradesh. The maximum temperature in the capital Delhi was 40 degrees. The mercury in places like Lalmar in Rajasthan has reached fifty-five.

On Tuesday, mercury jumped near 52 degrees in the border areas of the desert. This furnace like summer has effected the foreign tourists as well.
