Over 2000 students conferred with degree’s in IIT Roorkee’s convocation

A two-day convocation ceremony was held in IIT Roorkee from today. Many celebrities and prominent personalities were present at the IIT convocation ceremony 2018.
The ceremony took place at 10:00 in the morning. Professor Subra Suresh, President of Nanyang Technology University Singapore, inaugurated the ceremony.

IIT Director Professor Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi presented the annual progress report of the institute. In which he presented the details of research work and other activities done by the Institute throughout the year.  949 UG, 785 PG and 292 PHD students will be conferred with degree’s in the event.
