Inspector beaten to death in Bulandshahr

Massive violent protests broke out in Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, in which two people, including a police inspector, died. Two people were also injured in this violence. This violence occurred at a time when Ijtima’s conclusion of the three-day Muslim community in the area was concluded. However, the situation is currently in control.

The incident is in Chingrawathi area of ​​Sayya police station area. According to the police, rumors of killing cattle in the area were spread, after which many people from nearby villages reached Chingrawathi post. Soon stones were being thown at one another by the people protesting against cow slaughter. In this stone pelting a police inspector lost his life.

UP’s ADG law and order, Anand Kumar, informed about the incident, giving details stating that now the situation is under control. According to him, ‘This incident happened Monday morning from 11.30-12.30. There are many types of things coming out about the events. On the information of cow slaughter, the police patrol party reached Chingrawati area. Then there the villagers got agitated. Some people came in a tractor trolley and brought meat from the animals and started stone pelting on the checkpoint. The police first tried to explain them, but the situation got out of hand stone were thrown. During this time the police tried to control the crowd.

According to ADG, during the clash, a heavy object hit on the head of Inspector Subodh, which killed him due to excessive bleeding. ADG said that there is news of firing from the other side, but it has not been confirmed yet.

He has asked people not to spread rumors while appealing to restraint. Anand Kumar said that in this clash, 5-6 policemen including DSP were also injured. Some villagers are also injured. There is also news of a protestor’s death.
