2 aircraft’s collide in midair during air show in Bengaluru

There are reports of an accident occurring in the air show in Bengaluru. It is being told that during the show, two Suryaciran aircraft of the IAF collided with each other. After the collision the two plane caught in the fire.

According to the information so far, two aircrafts from Indian Air Force’s Suryakiran Aerobatics team have crashed on the Yelahanka airbus in Bangalore. During the exercise for the Aero India show, the two aircraft collided in mid air. However, pilots of both planes escaped safely. At the moment, more reports are awaited for detailed explanation.

The Suryakiran team was formed on May 27, 1996. Suryakiran show air feats involved in the team. There are 9 aircraft involved in a team. The team has done 400 shows from Sri Lanka to Singapore. In 2011, Suryakiran aircraft was removed from Airshow. After which it was re-admitted in the year 2015.
