India win Bronze in 10m Air Rifle Mix on Day 2 of World Cup Shooting Championship 2023

Today is the second day of the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) World Cup Shooting Championship 2023. 38 players from different countries including 4 players from India are aiming for gold. The championship started at 9.30 am. In the 10m air rifle mix, two Chinese teams qualified for bronze and gold. India qualified for bronze.

In the bronze category, India’s Narmada Nithin Raju and R Patil defeated China’s Yu Haonan and Zhang Qiongyue. The competition for gold took place between China and Hungary. Huang Yuting of China, Sheng Lihao defeated Denes Eszter and Istvan Peni of Hungary.

India’s Sarabjot Singh won 1 gold, Varun Tomar won bronze on the first day on Wednesday.

Players from countries like India, Korea, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Japan, Hungary, Switzerland, USA, Denmark, Czechia, Israel, Uzbekistan etc are participating in the 10m Air Rifle Mix and 10m Air Pistol rounds on Thursday. There are more than 300 players from 30 countries. 37 shooters from India are participating in the competition. These include 20 men and 17 women.
