Irrfan Khan hospitalized in Mumbai
Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan has been hospitalized due to sudden deterioration in his health. Irrfan is admitted in the ICU of Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Recently, Irrfan Khan’s mother Saeeda Begum passed away. At that time, there were reports that the actor had the last glimpse of the mother through video conferencing due to being away from home in lockdown. Irrfan Khan is currently in Mumbai.
Irrfan was diagnosed with his illness two years ago in March 2018. He himself gave this shocking news to his fans. He had revealed his illness by tweeting – ‘something suddenly happens in life that takes you further. The last few days of my life have been like this. I have a disease called neuro-endocrine tumor. But the love and strength of the people around me has given me hope’.
English Medium was Irrfan’s first film after defeating illness
53 year-old Irrfan was undergoing treatment in London. During this time, he stayed away from Bollywood. He returned to Bollywood after recovering from this disease for a long time. He returned to India in September 2019 last year. He was spotted at the airport in a wheelchair. After returning, he started shooting for the film English Medium. His recent release was English Medium. This was his first film after illness. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the film could not be commercially successful.
