Passenger trains to remain cancelled till 31 March

To prevent community spread of corona infection, the Indian Railways has taken a big decision. Indian Railways has decided to stop operating all passenger trains till 31 March. The railway has said that all long distance trains, express and intercity trains (including premium trains) will remain unoperational till 12 midnight on 31 March.

However, since coronavirus has been found in some railway passengers, traveling in the train has become risky. Railway administration has also become alert about this and has advised people to avoid traveling in the train. The Railway Ministry had tweeted, “Railways have found some passengers traveling on the train who wrer corona infected, which has made it risky to travel in the train. So avoid traveling in the train, because if your co-passenger is Corona positive, then you too can fall prey to it”.

The Railways appealed to the people to postpone all trips for the safety of themselves and their loved ones. At the same time, people are avoiding traveling in the train due to the danger of coronavirus. Due to this, a large number of people have got their tickets canceled. Also, the railways have canceled many trains till 31 March.

The entire country is fighting Corona, and the curfew is like an important weapon of this fight. Meaning the public should not go out on the streets themselves. All services are suspended in this. But even then every important service continues. The treatment is on. Essential item shops are open.
