In association with Sutlej Jal Vidyut Nigam, two day national Kayaking campaign competition was held on the Tons River. Nayana, a 12 year old girl, participated in the competition with 8 foreign nationals. Two-day national Kayaking championship competition was started by Jal Vidyut Nigam on the Tons River located in Mori block of Uttarkashi on Saturday. It was inaugurated by the District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Chauhan. The main objective of this competition, organized by SJVN on this occasion, was to connect regional youth with adventure sports.
He said that youth should be self-employed and illuminated the region by participating in learned and participating in competitions. In both competitions, the person who got first, second and third place was given a cash prize of 25, 20 and 15 thousand respectively. The competition was held between 28 participants. There were 8 foreign participants. At the same time, a young girl, 12 years old also took part in the competition.
