Bugatti Chiron hits 490kmph to become world’s fastest car

Bugatti’s super car Chiron has set a new world record in terms of speed. When the Bugatti Chiron first appeared, the car surprised everyone at a speed of 420 kilometers per hour. But this time the car has set a world record, beating its old speed. After some changes, Bugatti Chiron has won the title of world’s fastest car by clocking 490.48 km / h.

Not only this, the Chironhas become the first car to cross 300 miles per hour. Chiron set the record at Volkswagen Group’s secret test track in Germany. This record is not made by the standard version of Chiron but by the modified version. Additional safety cells, aerodynamic changes were made to the car. The length of this variant of the Chiron is 25 cm more than the standard variant.

To increase the speed of the car, it has reduced the cross section. Also, a new exhaust setup has been given in it. This variant of the Bugatti Chiron has an 8.0-liter quad turbo W16 engine, which provides 1,578 bhp power.

The strength of this variant is 100 bhp more than the standard variants. This car with all wheel drive has a 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The Bugatti Chiron Standard starts at $ 30 million, while its sports variants start at $ 32.6 million.

According to media reports, this car covered a range of 136 meters in just 1 second. On the same track in 1998, a British driver drove a McLaren F1 car at a speed of 391 km per hour. Before this, Bugatti Chiron itself has a record of racing at the speed of 420 kilometers per hour.
