Case registered against Burger King after glass pieces found in burger
After getting a piece of glass in a burger last week in Burger King’s Pune outlet, a customer complained to the police.
Deepak Lakhar, inspector of Deccan Gymkhana Police Station, said, “We have lodged a complaint against Burger King on Saturday (May 18th) on customer complaint. We are awaiting a medical report from the hospital and further action will be taken after this. “

The complainant, Sajid Pathan is 31 years old. He had come to this outlet for lunch with friends last Wednesday. They ordered burgers, fries and soft drinks. But when he put a burger’s mouth in his mouth, he pain in his neck and bleeding from his mouth.
There was something stuck in his throat. When the friends saw the burgers, they found small pieces of glass. They admitted him to hospital and deposited 15000 rupees for immediate treatment. The next day they had to deposit twice the amount.
Meanwhile, Burger King’s manager Siddhartha, denied the information about such an event. An FIR has been registered in this case.
