Employees to be trained on new software for timely salary disbursement

More than two lakh government employees in the state will get rid of the recent problems faced in salary payments. Training has been started for the drawing officers of various departments for this. At the same time, personnel will have to get rid of the vacant allowances, claim bills, fixation of all allowances including house rent, medical reimbursement or other pay related issues. Human Resource Management System (HRMS) has also been implemented in public financial management system software. After the problem of applying the software is resolved, all these facilities will be available to the personnel.

The state government has implemented PFMS software since April 1. It has made all the arrangements for online salary creation and payment from the Treasury. However, due to technical difficulties, the expected increase in the benefits of this system has not been seen till now. Finance Additional Secretary Arunendra Chauhan said that training is now being given to withdrawal distribution officers. After this training, these problems will be removed. Under the World Bank-funded Integrated Financial Management System (IFS), financial management system has been strengthened from state level to district-block and village panchayat level for transparency in government functioning and financial transactions.

Now in this episode, relief for the personnel is being looked upon by providing training to the concerned department officers. This entire system related to personnel human resources management will be paperless i.e. employees will not have to depend on the mercy of top executives for complaints of holidays, claim bills, or service discrepancies. After submission of online application and record, they will be settled timely. That means one click will solve the problems. Under the HRMS, every e-service book of personnel will be prepared. Old records of service book will be digitized. Employees will be able to get information online about their service book.
