With the arrival of eight new cases of corona virus infection in Thane, Maharashtra in the last 24 hours, the number of people infected so far in the district has increased to 7,08,841. An official gave this information on Sunday. He said that due to no death due to corona in Thane, the death toll remains at 11,883. The Covid-19 mortality rate in the district has been recorded at 1.67 percent. Another official said that in neighboring Palghar district, the total cases of Covid-19 have increased to 1,63,598, while the death toll has reached 3,407.
