Yogi orders officers to clear files within 3 days or face action

Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting with officials of the state’s Basic Education Department and Secondary Education Department. In this meeting, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to improve the quality of education in strict tone. The Chief Minister said that officers should conduct surprise visits by going to the field instead of sitting in headquarters. Not only this, the Chief Minister said that if any file in the department stays for more than three days, then action would be taken against that officer.

CM Yogi reprimanded the authorities for delay in providing text books, bags and uniforms to the children and issued instructions to it. After the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma said that the transparency in the teacher award, the online transfer process has been talked about ending this month. Nearly 16000 cases of Secondary Education Department are pending. They have been instructed to run a campaign to meet the law-related needs. The regulatory committee is at the district level, its expansion has also been discussed.

According to Dinesh Sharma, for a year, an academic calendar will be ordered for the purpose of determining the timely educational work and examination. In schools where there is a shortage of teachers, it was decided to try at a fast pace for the appointment of teachers. Also, new schools are being opened or in some places, the PPP model is operating on the basis, the arrangements for their operation should also be ensured.

In this meeting, the Minister of Basic Education, Anupama Jaiswal, said that the Chief Minister has directed for improvement in primary education. The minister said that during the meeting, the works of the past two years were reviewed. Also, the future plans have also been discussed. The Chief Minister has given a clear order that negligence of any situation will not be tolerated to improve the level of education so that the future will be safe.
