Google Pixel 8a: Know specs, price, where to buy in India

Google has launched Pixel 8a after Pixel 7a in the Indian market. Pixel 7a was launched last year and Pixel 8a is its upgraded version. The Pixel 8a comes with a new design and the Tensor G3 chipset that was previously used in the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

Google Pixel 8a has been introduced in India in 128 GB and 256 GB storage. 8 GB RAM will be available with both models. The price of 128 GB variant has been kept at Rs 52,999 and the price of 256 GB has been kept at Rs 59,999. Pixel 8a has been introduced in Aloe, Bay, Obsidian and Porcelain colors. Pixel 8a will be sold from Flipkart from May 14. Along with this, a bank offer of Rs 4,000 will also be available. Customers who pre-order Pixel 8a will get a chance to buy Pixel Buds A series for Rs 999.

Specifications of Google Pixel 8a

The screen of Google Pixel 8a is glass, the rear panel is plastic and the frame is aluminum. Pixel 8a comes with IP67 rating and its total weight is 188 grams. The phone has a 6.1-inch Super Actua display and the panel is OLED with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It has Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Pixel 8a comes with Tensor G3 processor. Many features like Circle to Search, AI Magic Editor, Audio Magic Eraser, Best Tech will be available in the phone. The phone has 8 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage.

For connectivity, it has support for Wi-Fi 6 along with Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB Type-C and GPS. Apart from e-SIM, physical SIM is also supported in the phone. It has both face unlock and fingerprint. Pixel 8a has a 4492mAh battery that supports 18W wired fast charging. There is also wireless charging with it.
