Toll collection booths to become cashless from December 1

One will not have to stop to pay toll tax to pass through the toll plaza. From December 1, the toll plazas will go completely cashless. The fee will be deducted from the users Fast tag account by scanning the fast tag on the vehicle from the device. Now the car will pass through the toll plaza without stopping.

In order to implement the new system, NHAI has instructed to install a flex for publicity on tolls. So that people can understand the system that will be implemented on December 1. People will get relief from the jam on toll plazas from Cashless crossing. Apart from fast tag cards, private bank or online recharge can be done while passing through tolls. For this, private banks will make chip cards for their customers. The validity of this card will be unlimited. The driver will be able to put the amount of his choice in it. As long as the amount remains in the card, the card will continue to work. On the same toll, the vehicle owner will take a quarter less time in crossing.

Charges will be deducted as per rules in 24 hours

According to the NHAI officer, people will also benefit after the implementation of this system. If the car passes only once in 24 hours, then only one kind of amount will be deducted from the users account. If ite passes back within 24 hours, then both the amount will be deducted as per the rules.
