Cisco introduces revolutionary chip and router

The US technology giant Cisco has introduced a new advanced chip and router, which the company says will revolutionize the ‘Internet of the future’. Cisco’s offer can be considered an achievement in the technology sector, which can impact the lives of crores of people. According to Cisco, the new-age Internet will not only be faster in speed, but will also be cheaper and will be able to shape the future of the world. Hundreds of software engineers of India have also contributed in realizing Cisco’s dream of making the Internet less expensive.

49 billion internet devices will connect in three years

Chuck Robbins, chairman and CEO of Cisco, said on Wednesday that his team was in San Francisco to build a new Internet for the fifth generation of advanced wireless technology.

He said, ‘Imagine the number of Internet users in the next three years when 49 billion devices will connect to the Internet and there will be about 4.8 billion Internet users worldwide. Therefore, being the backbone of the Internet, Cisco has a big responsibility. He said, “Today we have launched Silicon One, which is the world’s most powerful router made of new silicon.”

Digital experience will be gained with advanced technology

Highlighting the vision of Chuck Robins, Cisco’s Global Technology Leader David Goeckeler said that the new Internet is important for large networks of 5G, artificial intelligence i.e. AI and Internet of Things. In chronology, 16K video streaming, AI, quantom computing, predictive cyber security and other things that have not been invented yet, will provide digital experience with advanced technology.

Internet is important for streaming

Outside the US, Cisco has the largest number of people working in technology. When asked about the efficiency of Indian engineers and technology experts, David Goeckeler said, “We have a fantastic team in India, which is the largest team outside of California.” There are 10,000 engineers in our vast team in India. We have a large business in India and some large service providers are our partners. Not only this, hundreds of engineers of India contribute to these innovations. We are proud of them.
