Youth shot dead enroute Bhimtal to Haldwani
It has not be even a month after the incident of killing Haldwani’s businessman Bhupi Pandey in broad daylight that another such incident has created panic in the district. A young man coming from Bhimtal towards Haldwani by bike was shot dead by two people riding a scooty near Saladi. On being brought to Haldwani’s private hospital, the doctors declared him dead. A woman was also riding the bike along with the young man. On information SSP Sunil Kumar Meena reached with police force. They are taking information about the incident.
As per information received the youth, a resident of Banbhulpura, Haldwani, was coming towards Haldwani on Thursday evening with a woman on a bike. Two young men riding scooty near Chanda Devi in Saladi fired at him. He was brought to Brijlal Hospital in Haldwani in critical condition. Where doctors declared him dead. The cause of the murder is not yet known. The police team who reached the spot of the incident is also investigating the matter closely.
