Infosys reports 4335 crore profit in Q4 2019

Infosys, one of India’s leading IT services companies, reported a profit of up to 8 per cent in FY 2019-20. The company said that the it’s profit in the fourth quarter was up to 6.3 per cent, which is about Rs 4,335 crore. Apart from this, revenue also increased by 8 percent to Rs 23,267 crore.

The company said that it had a net profit of Rs 16,639 crore in FY 2019-20, which is about 8 per cent. Similarly, revenue also increased by 9.8 and stood at Rs 90,791 crore. However, due to Coronavirus, the company has refused to say anything about this financial year projections.

Shares closed 3.75 percent higher

Infosys shares closed higher on Monday, hoping to boost profits in the fourth quarter. Shares of the company closed up 3.75 per cent, or Rs 23.60, at Rs 652.90 per share on the BSE. At the same time, Infosys shares rose 3.53 percent or Rs 22.20 to close at Rs 650.95 per share on the NSE. The market capitalization of Infosys at BSE is close to Rs 2.78 lakh crore.
