No new Corona case reported in Uttarakhand today; 19 treated and discharged till date

After four consecutive days of corona cases, the chain was finally broken today i.e 21 April. On Tuesday, a total of 277 samples were reported from Haldwani Medical College, AIIMS Rishikesh and Private Lab till 5:30 PM but corona has not been confirmed in any patient. This has brought great relief to the government.

In fact, the government was facing difficulty due to continuous corona cases coming up in the state for the last four days. This was not only increasing the pressure on hospitals but also the need to investigate all the people coming in contact with the positive persons. But there is some relief from no new case coming up on Tuesday.

Additional secretary health Yugal Kishore Pant said that a total of 277 sample reports came from the lab on Tuesday, but all are negative. He said that samples of a total of four thousand 61 patients have been sent from the state so far. Out of which 3445 patients reported negative. While sample reports of 570 patients are yet to come. In view of the corona-like symptoms, 543 patients have been admitted to hospitals.

Patients recovering continuously

On Tuesday, a corona patient was discharged from the hospital. With this, the number of patients recovering after treatment of corona has increased to 19 so far. So far, 46 corona patients have been reported in the state. Of these, 19 have been fully recovered after treatment and discharged from the hospital.

324 samples sent for investigation

On Tuesday, a total of 324 samples have been sent to labs from across the state for examination. The most 144 samples have been sent from the Udham Singh Nagar district for investigation. While 91 samples have been sent from Nainital, 46 from Dehradun and 23 from Haridwar district were sent for testing. Samples of four patients from Uttarkashi district have also been sent to the lab for examination. In the state, 63 thousand people have been placed in Home quarantine while 21 hundred people have been kept in the facility quarantine.
