Total corona cases reach 22 in Uttarakhand after 6 more test positive
In Uttarakhand, the number of corona infected people is increasing steadily. On Saturday, six more patients were found corona positive in the state.
The travel history of all patients is being investigated by the Health Department. With this, now the total number of patients infected with corona in the state has reached 22. A sample test report from the Medical College Haldwani and AIIMS Rishikesh on Saturday confirmed corona in six more patients.
Among them, five from Nainital and one from Roorkee in Haridwar district have been found infected. According to the health department, a 25-year-old youth from a village in Roorkee returned from Alwar, Rajasthan on March 31. He was admitted in isolation at Civil Hospital Roorkee when doctors noticed signs of corona infection. A sample investigation found the youth to be corona positive. While five patients from Nainital include four youth and one elderly.

In all, a total of 22 people are infected in the state. A sample investigation report by Medical College Haldwani and AIIMS Rishikesh found corona positive in six more people from Nainital and Roorkee. All patients have been admitted to the isolation of respective regions. People coming in contact with patients will be marked and quarantined. Travel history of infected patients is being investigated.
15 infected cases in three days
Within three days, 15 cases of corona infection have been reported in Uttarakhand. The Health Department claims that all the positive cases reported in the state so far have returned to Uttarakhand from the outlying states. No cases of infection have been reported at the local level yet.
Two patients recover and discharged from hospital
According to the report of the Health Department, so far, two patients in the state have been recovered and discharged from the hospital. Five infected patients admitted to the isolation of Dehradun and Kotdwar Hospitals can be sent home from the hospital in few days. According to the Health Department, five infected patients are healthy.
