Uttarakhand Government launches app to help home delivery of essential items

With the objective to eliminate huge number of people outside the grocery shops, the state government has made arrangements to provide all these facilities to the people through a mobile app. This mobile app named Jan Aapurti Uttarakhand App will help in the supply of food items and other essential items through local shopkeepers in all the districts of the state.

This app can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple Store. This app can be operated in Hindi and English. The first option in this is given as Citizen. In this, any person can enter their name, address, PIN code etc. and place an order at their local shopkeeper or retail store registered in the app. After this, the goods will reach them as promised by the store.

Similarly, the retailer can also register themselves on the app. Apart from this, many questions related to the awareness of corona have been recorded in the app. So far only select shopkeepers and stores are registered on the app.
