CM Dhami visits disaster hit areas in Uttarkashi

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took stock of the arrangements by visiting the disaster-affected Mando and Kankradi villages of Uttarkashi district on Wednesday. After reaching Mando village, the Chief Minister inquired about the damage caused by the disaster and inquired about the well being of the disaster affected. The Chief Minister, meeting the families of those who died in the disaster, consoled the bereaved families and extended their consolation. He assured all possible help to the disaster affected.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed the DM to start the process of rehabilitation of Mando village on the demand of the villagers. At the same time, after conducting a geo-scientific survey, instructions were given to take appropriate action. After Mando village, the Chief Minister reached Kankaradi village. Where he met the relatives of the deceased Suman and consoled the bereaved family. And assured all possible help.

He also announced to give financial assistance of Rs. 01 lakh to the disaster victims from the Chief Minister’s discretionary fund. The Chief Minister also directed the District Magistrate for the early construction of damaged bridges and internal road in the disaster hit areas
