Dehradun and Nainital in Orange zone, Haridwar only district in red zone

Dehradun has been successful in the ongoing war against the Coronavirus. Now Dehradun has moved from Red to Orange Zone. Due to which people are expected to get some relief. Currently, the rules of lockdown will be followed.

The District Collector said that the challenges have increased even more since coming to the Orange Zone. Now our next goal is to reach the Green Zone. In such a situation, the next 14 days are even more important for us. Amidst the lockdown, the administration has given necessary relief to the people. Factories, books and fan shops are opening. At the same time, shops of essential services are also opening daily from seven in the morning to one in the afternoon. Hopefully, people will get more relief in the guidelines issued by the central government. In such a situation, the guideline is being awaited. A decision will be taken only after his arrival.

What are  red, orange and green zones

Red Zone

Red zones are areas where a large number of positive cases of corona virus have been reported. Areas that have been declared hotspots and still bring new cases, are also kept in the Red Zone. In such areas, all kinds of activity are restricted. People have to strictly follow the lockdown. There is an option to leave the house only when it is very important.

Orange Zone

The Orange Zone includes places where positive cases were reported, but no new cases have come up in the last few days. In other words, 14 days have lapsed since last Corona positive comes up then such area is declared as Orange Zone. People here are more relaxations compared to the Red Zone.

Green Zone

If there is no positive case of corona virus for the next 14 days after the declaration of orange zone or no case has been reported till date, then such area is declared as green zone. In such a district or locality, people have more leeway than in red and orange zones.
