Preparations complete for opening Tungnath temple for summers

The doors of the fourth Kedar Rudranath Dham were opened at the Brahma Muhurta on monday. After which special worship of Lord Bholenath started.

The doors of the dham have been opened for summer with all religious activities at 5 am today. During this, social distancing was followed. At the same time very few people were seen.

The third Kedar lord Tungnath’s convoy will depart from the winter seat Markandeya temple Makkumath on Monday. Tonight stay will be at Bhootnath temple. The convoy will arrive in Chopta on 19, while on 20 May the portals of Tungnath Dham will be opened with the all the religious ceremonies.

All preparations complete

The worship of the third Kedar lord Tungnath will begin at eight o’clock in the morning at Markandeya temple, Makkumath. All preparations have been completed for this. The temple manager Prakash Purohit said that due to the lockdown, only a limited number of people would be able to attend the doli program and the ceremony of inauguration on the instructions of the administration.
