Total corona cases reach 60 in Uttarakhand; 39 cured

The corona report of a 29-year-old female nursing officer working at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has come positive. The AIIMS staff has been stirred up with frequent cases. The AIIMS administration has started the process of enlisting people exposed to health care workers. It was informed that the people concerned will be quarantined as a precaution on the preparation of the list.

With this, the number of corona positive patients admitted to AIIMS has increased to five, who are being treated under the supervision of specialist doctors in isolation ward.

On Sunday, on behalf, Staff Officer of AIIMS Director told that, a female nursing officer of the institute was found to be Covid-19 positive after testing at AIIMS.  The officer told that the nurse had been on duty in the Medicine ICU from April 15 to 25, where a Corona positive woman resident of Nainital was admitted.

This nurse had complained of fever on 26 April, on which she took medicine without conducting medical examination and remained on leave till 29. Meanwhile, the corona virus was tested at the institute when the problem increased. The report of which has been found positive on Sunday. After this, she has been admitted to the isolation ward of the hospital, as well as proceedings have been started on all safety measures.

The total corona cases reported till date in Uttarakhand stands at 60, out of these 39 patients have been cured and discharged while the rest are undergoing treatment. Today i.e on 03 May, 201 samples reports were received out of which 200 were negative while 1 was positive for Covid-19.
