Uttarakhand Corona update 11 June: 75 new cases detected
The number of corona infected patients in Uttarakhand is increasing steadily. On Thursday, 75 more corona infected have been found in the state. At the same time, the total number of infected patients has now reached 1637 in the state. Of this, 837 infected patients have been cured. As per the health bulletin released at 2 P.M there are 778 active cases.
According to the report of the Health Department, today, 30 cases have been reported in Tehri district, 16 in Dehradun, three in Chamoli, 15 in Haridwar, one in Pauri, six in Rudraprayag, three in Udham Singh Nagar. At the same time, an infected case has also come out in the investigation report from a private lab.
Over 800 patients won the battle against Corona
In Uttarakhand, the number of patients recovering in the last ten days has exceeded active cases. The recovery rate of the state has gone up to 51.79 percent. Additional secretary Yugal Kishore Pant said that a new guideline has been issued by the center to discharge corona infected patients.
Corona confirmed in three including doctor at Doon Hospital
Corona infection has been confirmed in three health workers, including another female doctor of the State Doon Medical Hospital.
Junior resident lady doctor Corona was treating and caring for the infected patients. While health workers are also taking care of corona patients on continuous rotation. Concerns with the health department as well as the administration have increased with doctors and health workers in other hospitals, including Doon Hospital, getting intected by corona.
The hospital administration is brainstorming on different strategies to protect the doctors and health workers under the supervision of Corona patients from infection.
