Apple begins iPhone 11 manufacturing in India
There is good news for iPhone enthusiasts that the US tech company Apple will launch its flagship model iPhone 11 for the first time in India. For this, preparations have started at Foxconn plant in Chennai.
As per the company this top iPhone model will be manufactured for the first time in India. Apart from this, the company is also considering making the iPhone SE 2020 model in India. If this happens, this model will be manufactured at the Western plant in Bangalore.
Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal announced this by tweeting on Friday. He said, ‘These are good signs for Make in India. iPhone 11 is going to be made in India. This is one of the top models of the Apple company, which will be made in the country. In the year 2017, Apple started the work of iphone SE at its Bangalore plant.
Foxconn is the largest supplier of Apple, which is now preparing to invest one billion dollars in India’s factory.
