Corona cases in India cross 10 lakh 5 days ahead of schedule, estimate of 3 crore cases by Jan 2021

Cases of coronavirus infection are increasing rapidly in the country. Corona cases in the country is close to 10.50 lakhs. Regarding the corona cases, experts had estimated that in the fourth week of July in the country this figure will cross 10 lakh, although it has reached there 5 days earlier. In such a situation, experts have warned that if the correct steps are not taken for the prevention of corona, by January next year, the number of corona patients can cross 3 crore.

On the basis of various mathematical models, the experts monitoring the corona had issued a warning in the month of June itself about the daily growing cases of the corona. Between 1 July and 16 July, nearly 5 lakh corona cases have been reported. According to the estimates of experts, by the end of July, this figure can reach around 7 to 8 lakhs in a month.

India heading towards the peak of Corona

According to Dr. Randeep Guleria, the director of Delhi AIIMS, even after seeing the rapid progress of Corona cases, it may not be called a peak yet, but its sign can definitely be considered. Corona is moving towards its peak in the country. Similarly, Dr. Jugal Kishore of Safdarjung Hospital says that even though we are scared to see the figure of 1 million now. But Corona’s peak is yet to come.

Corona case to be 3 crore by January estimate researchers

Researchers from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, have also presented a mathematical model in view of the rapidly growing cases of Corona. Based on the rapid increase in corona cases of IIMC researchers, by January next year, the number of patients in India has been estimated to be around 3 crore. It is being told that by September the number of patients in the country may be close to 35 lakhs.
