UKSSSC issues 300 group C vacancies in Uttarakhand

The recruitment process of government jobs that had been postponed for nearly five months due to Corona outbreak has been resumed. Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has sought applications for 158 posts of Stenographer in various departments and 142 posts of Accounts Clerk of Urban Development Department. Online applications will start from 31 July and the last date for 14 September has been announced.

Commission Secretary Santosh Badoni said that the minimum educational qualification for stenographer should beĀ  intermediate and 80 words per minute typing speed in Hindi stenography. Also it is mandatory to have one year computer diploma from recognized institute. The minimum educational qualification for the post of accounting clerk is intermediate. Hindi typing speed on computer should be 4000 characters per hour. He informed that reservation for economically weaker sections (EWS) will be applicable on all posts.

Before filling any application form, candidates have to fill their OTR (One Time Registration). The Common Service Center has also been authorized to fill the application form. Candidates from the rural area can submit their fee online with their photo, signature and thumb scan at CSC. The application fee has been fixed at Rs. 300 for general category candidates and Rs. 150 for reserved category.

How to apply

According to the Commission Secretary, Badoni, from 31 July, candidates will be able to register themselves through the department’s website https://sssc.uk.gov.in/. Applications will be available online at sssc.uk.gov.in. This time facility will also be available in CSC for filling the form and OTR.
