170 Corona cases reported in Dehradun on 26 August
Today’s Corona update from Uttarakhand is that there are 530 people infected with coronavirus Sar-Cov-2. With this, the figure of coronavirus infected patients has reached 16549 in Uttarakhand. Now 350 to 400 people are on average getting infected every day in Uttarakhand, which is a matter of concern. Talking about today’s health department report, today 13 are from Bageshwar district, 17 from Chamoli district, 20 from Champawat district, 170 from Dehradun district, 80 from Haridwar district, 81 from Nainital district, 25 from Pauri Garhwal, 7 from Pithoragarh, 2 from Rudraprayag district, 36 from Tehri Garhwal, 64 from Udham Singh Nagar district, and 15 from Uttarkashi district. According to today’s Health Department report, 6 people have died of coronavirus infection in Uttarakhand. Apart from this, 338 area containment zones have been created in Uttarakhand. 323 people were discharged after getting cured.
Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi self quarantined
Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi has been self-quarantined. Two days ago the MLAs met the residents in Mussoorie, out of which one person is reported to be Corona positive. On this, the MLA has decided to quarantine himself as a precaution.
Over 8500 cases in last 25 days in Uttarakhand
In terms of corona, the month of August is taking a heavy toll on Uttarakhand. In the last 25 days, there have been 8831 new cases of corona, which means an average of 350 infected every day. Corona has been confirmed at 485 people on Tuesday. In total, 16014 people have been infected in the state so far. Of these, 11201 people have recovered. At present there are 4537 patients admitted in different hospitals and covid care centers. 55 patients have gone out of state.
