AAP to contest Uttarakhand assembly elections in 2022

The Aam Aadmi Party of Delhi has announced to contest on all the seats in the Uttarakhand Assembly elections in 2022. This announcement was made by Arvind Kejriwal, the head of the Aam Aadmi Party at the press conference. Kejriwal said, We conducted a survey in Uttarakhand, in which 62 percent people said that we should contest elections in Uttarakhand, then we decided that the Aam Aadmi Party will contest in Uttarakhand. Employment, education and health are the major issues in Uttarakhand.

Kejriwal further said, “People’s expectation from both parties (Congress and BJP) is over, people believe in AAP and the election is fought on expectation. AAP will contest in the assembly elections in Uttarakhand in February 2022 on all seats.  “

AAP not in alliance mood in Uttarakhand

The Aam Aadmi Party has formed the government by winning bumper in the Delhi Assembly elections twice in a row. Now the Aam Aadmi Party will contest all 70 seats in Uttarakhand. In Uttarakhand, the Aam Aadmi Party does not seem to be in the mood for an alliance with any party. AAP, who has entered politics from Delhi, has also contested elections in Punjab and Goa earlier. Now Uttarakhand will be the third state. Even in Uttar Pradesh, the Aam Aadmi Party is busy spreading its foot.

Arvind Kejriwal said that ‘the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi has been well supported by the Uttarakhand population. Kejriwal said that the schools and hospitals of Delhi have witnessed rejuvenation. In such a situation, the people requested the party that the AAP should enter the politics of Uttarakhand and should also contest the assembly elections. Kejriwal also said that the election of AAP in Uttarakhand will not be fought by our workers, but the people there.’
