Uttarakhand Corona news 5 August: 246 new cases found; 386 recoveries
The cases of corona in Uttarakhand are increasing day by day. However, it is a matter of relief that the number of patients recovering is also increasing continuously. On Wednesday, a record 386 patients have been healthy and discharged, while corona infection has been confirmed in 246 people. The highest number of 66 cases have been reported from Uttarkashi. Apart from this, 50 Nainital, 47 Dehradun, 36 Udham Singh Nagar, 20 Haridwar, nine Pauri Garhwal, six Rudraprayag, five Tehri Garhwal, three Chamoli, two Almora, one case each have been reported in Champawat and Bageshwar. Now, the number of corona infections has increased to 8254 in the state, out of which 5233 people have been completely cured. Currently 2885 cases are active, while 98 have died. Apart from this, 38 patients have gone out of the state.
66 people found corona positive in Uttarkashi
On Wednesday morning, 66 people have been found corona positive in Uttarkashi. These include ITBP, Army and locals. The worrying thing is that most of the positives coming in do not have travel history. The number of corona positives in the district has reached 289. District Magistrate Mayur Dixit has called a meeting regarding the growing cases of corona infection.
Corona infection continues to increase in Uttarkashi. The cases of infection have reached more than Pauri, Chamoli, Rudraprayag in Uttarkashi district, while Uttarkashi has less than half the population of Pauri. In Uttarkashi, the number of corona positive has reached 289, while in Pauri the corona cases are 222. The most worrying thing in Corona Positive is that now most of the positive cases are those which do not have a travel history.
According to information received from the Health Department, on Tuesday, investigation report of 3509 samples was received. Of which 3301 samples have been reported negative and 208 positive. Udham Singh Nagar district had the highest number of 63 cases.
2 patients recover by plasma therapy
There is good news for serious patients of Coronavirus from Uttarakhand. For the first time in the state, good results of plasma therapy have come out in Corona patients. Two patients admitted to Sushila Tiwari Hospital in Haldwani were discharged on Tuesday after recovering from Plasma Therapy. Both patients thanked the doctors and hospital staff after being discharged. During treatment, the condition of both of these was constantly deteriorating, after which they had to be kept on ICU and then Ventilator.
Both patients who have recovered in the fight against Corona, are sub-inspectors of a Uttarakhand police. According to Dr. Paramjit Singh, the Nodal Officer of Corona at Sushila Tiwari Hospital, both patients had symptoms of severe pneumonia. Apart from this, their blood pressure was constantly going up and down. There was also a serious infection in the lungs. Due to which there was difficulty in breathing. That is why it was decided to resort to plasma therapy.
