Russia to register world’s first coronavirus vaccine on August 12

Russia’s Deputy Health Minister has said that Russia will register its first vaccine against the coronavirus on August 12. This vaccine has been developed jointly by the Gamaleya Research Institute and the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Russia said that production of the corona vaccine will begin next month as the vaccine has also successfully completed its final phase of human trials. It is also being claimed that the Corona vaccine being made in Russia can also come in the market soon.

Russia’s Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said that it is expected that by the end of September, vaccine production level will be completed. Scientists at Gamalaya Institute, located in Moscow, Russia, say that after the production of the vaccine, this vaccine can be given to the health department’s frontline health workers first because they are the priority. They also have to work among infected people and get vaccinated.
