Total Corona case count in Uttarakhand crosses 50,000
The figure of corona infected people in Uttarakhand has crossed 50 thousand. In the last 24 hours on Saturday, 12 patients have succumbed and 503 new corona infected have been found. At the same time, 919 patients have recovered. According to the Health Department report, 8068 samples were examined on Saturday. In this 7565 samples were negatives. While 503 people have got corona infection.
The highest of these 142 are from Dehradun. Apart from this, 99 in Haridwar, 72 in Tehri Garhwal, 71 in Nainital, 34 in Uttarkashi, 32 in Udham Singh Nagar, 16 in Pauri Garhwal, 13 in Bageshwar, 10 in Champawat, 7 in Rudraprayag, 4 in Chamoli and 3 cases in Pithoragarh have been reported. At the same time, 12 have died. The number of infected patients in the state has reached beyond fifty thousand. The infection has been confirmed in 50062 people so far. However, 41095 of these have fully recovered. At present 8076 cases are active, while 648 have died. Apart from this, 243 patients have gone out of the state.
Record number of pilgrims reach Kedarnath
Record travellers reached Kedarnath on Saturday after getting relaxation in unlocked five. For the first time so far during the Yatra period, 2648 pilgrims arrived in a single day. So far, 14106 pilgrims have visited the Kedarnath. Kedarnath doors were opened on 29 April this year amidst Corona infection, but there was silence in the Dham for the first one and a half months. The yatra was started by the state government at the district level from June 12.
