Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 304 new cases, 2 deaths in last 24 hours
On Wednesday, 304 new corona patients were found in the state and two died. With this, the total number of patients in the state has reached 61261. 463 patients recovered after treatment. The number of patients recovering has increased to 56073. Now, 3696 patients remain admitted in the state hospitals.
According to the Health Bulletin released by Health Department, on Wednesday, Corona cases were found 4 in Almora, 10 in Bageshwar, 23 in Chamoli, 8 in Champawat, 79 in Dehradun, 29 in Haridwar, 47 in Nainital, 38 in Pauri, 5 in Pithoragarh, 23 in Rudraprayag. 23, 14 in Tehri, 18 in US Nagar while Coronavirus has been identified in 6 patients in Uttarkashi.
On Wednesday, one of the infected patients admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh and Haldwani Medical College died. With this, the total number of patients who died after corona infection in the state has increased to 1009. The recovery rate of corona patients in the state has reached close to 92 percent.
The infection rate is 6.21 percent. On Wednesday, samples of 13207 patients were sent for examination. Report of 12 thousand came. More than 17 thousand sample reports are yet to come. There is a rapid decline in the number of containment zones in the state and now only 18 such zones are left.
Corona recovery rate in Uttarakhand higher than national average
With the recovery rate of corona patients being higher than the national average, Uttarakhand is better than the country in active cases. On Wednesday, the number of active cases of corona in the state was 6.03 percent of the total infected, compared to 7.67 percent in the country. The recovery rate in the state is 91.53 percent, while at the national level it is 90.82 percent. It is also comforting that the death toll has been limited to the unit for the last five days. After about two months, such a situation has arisen. In this sense, the effect of corona is now steadily decreasing.
