Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 549 cases found on 16 October
On Friday, 549 new cases have been reported in Uttarakhand, of which 183 are from Dehradun. Apart from this, 86 from Nainital, 73 from Chamoli, 41 from Pauri Garhwal, 28 from Haridwar, 26 from Rudraprayag, 22 each in Champawat and Almora, 20 in Tehri Garhwal, 14 each in Uttarkashi and Udham Singh Nagar, 11 in Pithoragarh and 9 in Bageshwar have been reported. At the same time, 524 have been cured, while 15 infected have died. The number of corona infected patients has now increased to 57042 in the state. However, 50155 have become completely healthy. At present 5692 cases are active, while 829 people have died. In addition, 366 patients have moved out of the state.
According to the Health Department, 14 patients have died in the district Dehradun. Among them, four patients died in Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant and Sri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. Three patients died at Kailash Hospital, two at AIIMS Rishikesh and one at Doon Medical College Hospital. Apart from this, three and one patient died in Dr. Sushila Tiwari State Hospital, Haldwani, in District Hospital Uttarkashi.
