Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 449 cases found on 30 December
On Wednesday, 449 new corona patients were found and nine infected people died in the state. With this, the total number of patients in the state has increased to 90,616. While the death toll has risen to 1504. The Health Department has been working to identify people exposed to the new Corona strain. Suspected patients will be identified and isolated to prevent the virus from spreading.
According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, on Wednesday, 17 in Almora, 8 in Bageshwar, 11 in Chamoli, 11 in Champawat, 157 in Dehradun, 38 in Haridwar, 108 in Nainital, 9in Pauri, 38 in Pithoragarh, 8 in Rudraprayag, 8 inTehri, 23 in US Nagar and 14 in Uttarkashi district.
On Wednesday, five died at Haldwani Medical College, one at AIIMS, one at Himalayan Hospital, one at Synergy while one patient at Mahant Indresh Hospital also died. With the death of 9 patients on Wednesday, the total death toll in the state has crossed 1500. On Wednesday, 724 patients were discharged after recovering.
With this, the total figure of those who have been cured is 62967. While 4963 patients are being treated in various hospitals. More than 13 thousand samples have been sent from various hospitals of the state for examination. Reports of about 14 thousand samples came while reports of samples of around 14 thousand are yet to come. The rate of recovery of patients in the state has been 91.56 percent while the rate of infection has been 5.13 percent.
