Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 496 cases on 15 December
On Tuesday, 496 new cases of corona were reported in the state. 11 infected patients also died. 524 patients recovered. The figure for total positive patients has reached 83502.
According to Health Bulletin released on Tuesday, 16 cases in Almora, eight in Bageshwar, 17 in Chamoli, 13 in Champawat, 177 in Dehradun, 18 in Haridwar, 104 in Nainital, 17 in Pauri, 60 in Pithoragarh, 4 in Rudraprayag, 13 in Tehri, 25 in US Nagar and 24 positive cases were from Uttarkashi.
12205 cases came negative. On Tuesday, 14902 samples were sent for testing . The total number of active cases in the state now stands at 6089. The report of 17974 samples is still awaited in the state.
The infection rate has reached 5.42 percent, the recovery rate 89.88 percent. 75049 patients have been cured. A total of 1372 patients have died.
Infection rate in Sylhet village of Pauri 38 percent
In Syleth village of Pokhara block of Pauri district, the infection rate has suddenly reached 38 percent. It is being described as a matter of concern. Recently, 89 out of 233 villagers were found to be corona positive after the Ramlila Commission.
A total of seven people, including a female doctor, have been confirmed to have corona infection on Tuesday in Pachuvadoon. While 230 people were tested. All infected patients are placed in home isolation.
Assistant Nodal Officer of Sub District Hospital, Ritu Joshi said that the Gynecologist posted in the hospital had done RT-PCR test few days back, whose report has come positive.
