JEE advanced 2021 to be held on July 3

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced the date of JEE Advanced Exam 2021 on Thursday. This year the JEE Advanced exam will be held on 3 July 2021. Also, the condition of compulsory 75% marks for admission in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) has been removed. Last year also, due to Corona, 75 percent marks were exempted from the obligation. The Education Minister said that this year the examination will be conducted by IIT Kharagpur.

Through the webinar, the Education Minister said, ‘Since the announcement of the dates of JEE Mains 2021, students were constantly asking questions about JEE Advanced. Students were constantly questioning the date, provision, eligibility rules of JEE Advanced. Covid-19 has disrupted regular classroom teaching. Students still have not recovered from this. Keeping this in mind, this time also the eligibility criteria for admission in IITs of 75 per cent marks has been removed. The JEE Advanced exam will be conducted this time on July 3. Students have plenty of time to prepare. Students can prepare well. IIT Kharagpur will conduct the examination this time. Best wishes to all the students. ‘

The government has allowed students who have passed JEE Main 2020 to sit directly in JEE Advanced 2021 who could not sit in JEE Advanced 2020 due to Corona pandemic. For these students there is no need to give JEE Main 2021. They will get a chance to sit in JEE Advanced 2021 directly. In this case, the number of students appearing in the JEE Advanced Examination will be much higher this time.

Entry is available in the prestigious 23 IITs of the country only through JEE Advanced Examination. Only students who have done well in JEE Main get the opportunity to give JEE Advanced.

Last month itself, the Education Minister also announced that from 2021, the JEE Mains Examination will be held four times a year. The four sessions will be held in February, March, April and May. The first session of JEE Mains Examination will be held from 23 February to 26 February 2021.

Earlier, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal had announced the dates of CBSE class 10th and 12th board 2021 exam. Board exams will be conducted from May 4 to June 10, while the results will be released from July 15.
