New Guidelines issued for tourists coming to Uttarakhand
In Uttarakhand, the system of registration for smart city portal for tourists and other people from other states has been abolished. At the same time, everything outside the containment zone has been unlocked, but for the prevention of corona infection in public places, work sites, markets, crowded places, wearing masks in public transport, physical distance and non-compliance of sanitation rules will be followed strictly.
On Friday, the State Disaster Management Authority has issued a new SOP of Covid. Which will come into effect from February 1. SOP has been issued by Secretary Disaster Management SA Murugesan. The state government has adopted the SOP guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
In the SOP, the government has relaxed the restrictions imposed outside the containment zone. The District Magistrate has been given the right to decide the presence of people in social, religious, sports, entertainment related events outside the Containment Zone.
At the same time, exemption will be given in the state on the basis of SOP to be issued by Ministry of Sports for Swimming Pool, Ministry of Information Broadcasting for use of more than 50 percent seats in theaters and Ministry of Commerce for exhibition. At the same time, there is no relaxation in the system of Arogya Setu App to monitor corona infection. This system will remain the same as before.
SOP will be issued separately for Kumbh
Separate SOP will be issued for Covid at Kumbh Mela on the basis of the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. This may entail registration for devotees coming to Kumbh.
Strict action on not adhering to masks and social distancing
The mandatory wearing of masks will be strictly followed in the public and work area. If a person does not follow it, then they will be fined. In view of the danger of spreading infection in markets, crowded places, public transport, it will be the responsibility of the district administration to strictly adhere to masks, social distancing and sanitization.
