Rishikesh Music Festival to be held on 17-18th January 2021

Rishikesh, the land of eternal music from where Beatles got inspired to write those amazing songs is going to witness it’s First ever music festival on the eve of 17 January .Festival will be of two days which will end on 18 January. The event Is unique and one of its own kind as this will be the first music festival happening in the Rishikesh where artist from across the world will gather at one place to showcase their love for music.

Event is being organised by the kutani Hand pan academy which is situated in Rishikesh. This Academy is special in its own way as this is the first hand pan academy of Asia which is founded by Sumit Kutani, a local lad from Uttarakhand.

A team of passionate individual who love music and want to see Rishikesh as a hub of music production in the future, are putting there heart and soul to make this event a reality. Several artist from around the world are going to perform in the 2 days festival. To name a few are Bhajan singer Himanshu, Dr. Rajesh Anuragi, Band Indian groovers , baba kutani. The event will be hosted by RJ Mantra who is a well known personality in his field.
The organizers have given free entry to the visitors so that more and more people can get familiar with the art and culture of Uttarakhand. The sole objective of the event is to promote tourism, art and culture of Uttarakhand.

The event has gained massive support from Uttarakhand government. The state Tourism minister Satpal Maharaj in person met the organisers and gave his support for the festival. While the event has received a helping hand from Uttarakhand Tourism ministry. Posters and promo of the festival are continuously being shared by official social media handles of the ministry. Event will be held at Narayana palace which is situated in Rishikesh.
