Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 62 cases found on 25 January

62 new cases of corona infection were found in Uttarakhand on Monday. It is a matter of relief that in five districts of the state Uttarkashi, Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat and Pauri, no new cases of corona infection have been found on Monday. After receiving 62 new cases in the state, the total number of infected persons has increased to 95,702. Of these, 91,221 people have been cured. There are now 1523 active patients in the state. So far 1635 Corona-infected patients have died in the state. Even today, four more infected patients succumbed during treatment. Two infected patients died at Mahant Indiresh Hospital and one each at District Hospital Rudrapur and Medicity Hospital Rudrapur.

While 254 patients from different districts have been cured today. According to information received from the Health Department, on Monday, test reports of 11293 samples have been received from different labs. Of these, 11231 cases have been reported negative and 62 positive. Dehradun has the highest number of 28 people infected. Besides, 13 persons have been found infected in Nainital, 10 in Haridwar, six in Udham Singh Nagar, two in Chamoli, one each in Tehri, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh. While in five districts Uttarkashi, Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat and Pauri, no new cases of corona infection have been found today.
