Uttarakhand Corona update: 47 new cases found on February 6
On Saturday, 47 new corona patients were found in Uttarakhand and two infected people died. With this, the total number of patients in the state has gone up to 96478 while 92519 have been completely cured. There are now only 937 active patients in hospitals. According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, on Saturday, no patient had symptoms of corona in Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Rudraprayag, Tehri and Uttarkashi districts. Corona virus has been confirmed in 12 patients in Dehradun, 12 in Haridwar, 11 in Nainital, one in Pauri, five in Pithoragarh, five in US Nagar.
On Saturday, samples of around 6400 patients from various hospitals of the state have been sent for examination. Reports of nine thousand came while reports of about 66 hundred samples were yet to come. Two infected people admitted to Doon Medical College died on Saturday. 50 patients from various hospitals of the state were discharged after recovery. This has brought the total number of patients cured to 92519.
3470 vaccination in the state
On Saturday, 3470 patients from the state were vaccinated with corona. With this, the total number of vaccinated patients in the state has been 73562. On Saturday, maximum 1080 health workers were vaccinated in Dehradun district. The total number of vaccinated health workers in Doon has crossed 19 thousand. A total of around 87 thousand health workers in the state have been identified for corona vaccination, of which 73562 have been vaccinated. While about 13 thousand health workers are yet to be vaccinated. Health department officials said that districts have been given immunization exemption on Sunday. So that all health workers can be vaccinated. Front line workers are to be vaccinated in the state from Monday.
