293 corona cases reported in Uttarakhand on 31 March
On Wednesday, 293 new corona patients were found in Uttarakhand and four infected people died. With this, the total number of corona patients in the state has gone up to 100411. While the figure of the dead has reached 1717. According to a bulletin issued by the Health Department, on Wednesday, 171 cases in Dehradun, one in Bageshwar, two in Chamoli, 70 in Haridwar, 21 in Nainital, 7 in Pauri, 2 in Pithoragarh, 2 in Tehri, 16 in US Nagar and 1 in Uttarkashi district have been reported. One patient admitted to AIIMS Rishikesh, two admitted to Doon Hospital and one patient admitted to Mahant Indresh Hospital died.
On Wednesday, 118 patients admitted to various hospitals of the state were discharged after recovery. With this, the number of patients recovering has increased to 95330. While the number of active patients has reached 1863. The rate of infection in the state is 3.66 percent while the recovery rate of patients is 95.94 percent. On Wednesday, more than 15,000 samples were sent from all the districts of the state for examination. Reports of more than 11 thousand samples came while reports of 99 hundred samples are yet to come.
Number of containment zones increased to five
The number of containment zones in Dehradun district has increased to five. It has one Mussoorie, two in Dehradun, and two Containment Zones in Rishikesh.
