Uttarakhand corona update: Over 100 cases found on 17 March

The pace of corona infection has slowed, but the threat still remains. Lack of usage of Mask, sanitization and physical distance, the kind of carelessness that is seen everywhere, can overshadow the months of hard work of health workers. It is also showing its impact in Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana and many other states of the country. On Wednesday, 110 cases of corona were found in Uttarakhand. This is the second highest figure of this year. However, it is a matter of relief that no patient has died in the state since two days.

According to the Health Department, investigation reports of 12192 samples were received from government and private labs, out of which 12085 cases have been reported negative. In Dehradun, the maximum number of 40 people have been affected by corona infection. In Haridwar, 34 people have been found infected. Apart from this, 18 people have been found infected in Udham Singh Nagar, 13 in Nainital, two each in Pauri and Pithoragarh and one in Almora. While no new cases of corona infection have been found in the six districts of Bageshwar, Chamoli, Champawat, Rudraprayag, Tehri and Uttarkashi. Here, 35 patients have also been cured in various districts.

So far 98041 people have been infected in the state. In which 94250 (96.13 percent) people have also become healthy. There are 672 active cases of corona at the moment. At the same time, 1704 patients of Corona infected have also died in the state.
