Corona cases show no signs of slowing down in 4 districts of Uttarakhand

The death toll is also increasing in Uttarakhand as the number of corona infections increases. Even on Thursday, there was no relief day in the state due to corona infection. A total of 411 new cases were reported in the state, while 301 were cured. Nine deaths of Corona infected patients was reported. Udham Singh Nagar has the highest number of 125 cases. 115 cases were reported in Haridwar, while 87 cases were reported in Dehradun. Apart from this, Nainital 47, Tehri 17, Chamoli 9, Almora and Champawat had 2 cases each, while a case came from Bageshwar. No cases were reported in Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi. At the same time, there are a total of 13636 positive cases in the state, out of which 9433 have been cured. A total of 187 have died so far.

The Corona report of the State Employees Joint Council Executive State President Nand Kishore Tripathi has come out positive. He is working in Vikas Bhawan. It was told by the State Employees Joint Council that Nand Kishore Tripathi had not participated in any program since the ongoing campaign against Gairsain in July. Therefore, the council officials are not being told to stay quarantined. During this time he did not even meet anyone. But the Executive Secretary General of the Council, Arun Pandey, has demanded that sanitization of the entire building including his department be done in Vikas Bhawan. Also, necessary guidelines should be issued for the employees, so that no other employees get infected.

Corona patients are doubling in the state in 26 days. The recovery rate of patients has reached close to 70 percent while the infection rate is running above five percent.

The  total number of Corona patients in Haridwar district has increased to 3321. While it is 2742 in Dehradun, 2519 in Udham Singh Nagar. The number of active patients in Haridwar has been 963 while in the US Nagar it has been 928. Dehradun is third on the list of most active patients in the state with 728 patients.

So far 9433 patients have been cured in the entire state. While 3966 patients are being treated in hospitals. 390 containment zones have been created throughout the state to prevent corona infection.
