New guidelines for Corona curfew in Uttarakhand till May 18

To control the corona infection, the government has now announced to extend the Covid curfew for a week from Tuesday across the state. This will be strictly applicable from urban to rural areas in the state. During this period, 50 per cent employees will be present in the offices connected with essential services, while other offices will be completely closed. After the approval of Chief Minister Tirath Rawat, cabinet minister and government spokesman Subodh Uniyal gave this information. He informed that in the first phase, the Covid curfew will remain in force from 6 am on May 11 to 6 am on May 18.

During curfew, shops for milk, fruits, vegetables and meat have been allowed to open from 7 am to 10 am. He told that any kind of religious and political events have been banned in the state. Weddings will not have more than 20 people present. For this, permission has to be obtained from the district administration. The government appeals to such people to postpone the dates of weddings for the time being as the infection increases. The cabinet minister said that those coming from outside will have to show the negative RT-PCR report not later than previous 72 hours , while the migrants will have to register compulsorily on the portal of smart city.

Shops will be open till 1 pm on Monday afternoon

On Monday, ration and other essential shops will be open till 1 pm across the state. Their time was up to 12 noon. Due to this, the duration of one hour has been extended due to avoid the rush while buying necessary ration.

Ration shops to close from May 13

During this time people have been able to take the necessary rations, so it has been decided to discontinue them from May 13. Government spokesperson and cabinet minister Subodh Uniyal said that after this, ration shops and government shops will also be completely closed during the Covid curfew.

Those coming by train will have to show tickets

Those arriving by train or plane must show a ticket. Only then will they be allowed to go to the destination. Within the state, only 50 per cent of the capacity will be able to seat in vehicles.

Medicine and animal shops will remain open

During curfew, shops related to medicine and health equipment as well as shops related to animal feed and agriculture and horticulture will be open. Along with this, petrol pumps have also been exempted.

Strict standards for industries too

The government has set strict standards for industrial units this time. Industries will be able to open only when they arrange to place employees in the same premises or to take them from their homes and leave through their transport.

Migrants will stay at the Quarantine Center for a week

Migrants from different provinces will have to stay in quarantine centers for a week. Gram Panchayats will make arrangements for this. After a week, if a person does not show any symptoms, then only then they will be allowed to go home.

Registration has to be shown for vaccination

In the state, youth between 18 and 45 years of age will be have to show registration on their mobiles when they go for vaccination. They will have to return home directly after getting vaccinated. Vaccination for people of this age is going to start at many centers in the state from Monday.

Only home delivery from restaurant

Only kitchen service will run in hotels and restaurants. Hotel-restaurant will be allowed home delivery. Hotels that have bars will be completely closed. In the same way, domestic and foreign liquor shops in the state will also be completely closed during this period.
