Oxygen generation plant at STH Haldwani to commence operations from today
Oxygen crisis in Dr. Sushila Tiwari Hospital Haldwani should soon be over. The 1200 metric ton capacity oxygen plant has been repaired here. Which will be operational from today. This will supply oxygen to all 425 beds of the hospital. This will not require the supply of oxygen cylinders from suppliers. Also, other private Covid hospitals will not have to deal with the problem of oxygen cylinders. 1400 cylinders of oxygen can be made from STH’s oxygen generation plant.
Liquid tank has been purchased
Liquified oxygen will be used at STH’s oxygen generation plant. For this, a liquid tank has been purchased from Rudrapur.
Private hospitals will get relief
At present oxygen is being supplied daily from three oxygen suppliers to 14 Covid Hospitals in the district. STH alone is getting 1400 cylinders. Due to which the supply of the other 13 Covid hospitals was effected. However, STH will not have to buy oxygen from suppliers after generating its own oxygen. This will increase oxygen supply to private hospitals and dedicated Covid centers.
