UP government extends corona curfew by 1 week

UP CM Yogi Adityanath led BJP government has decided to increase corona curfew further by one week after meeting with members of the cabinet after it has a very effective effect in reducing the cases in the second wave of Corona In Uttar Pradesh, the Corona curfew will remain in force till 7 am on May 24. Action will be taken against those who break the rules. Essential services will continue to be exempted. The Chief Minister has taken this decision in a virtual meeting with all the ministers.

In the meeting it was decided that the Corona curfew in Uttar Pradesh should be extended till 24 May. It has been extended for a week. With this, the government also decided to give Rs 1000 as financial assistance to all the registered hand cart vendors. The state government will also give three months ration to all of them. The UP Oxygen Production Incentive Scheme 2021 has also been approved in the cabinet meeting.

Tightening the grip on private hospitals

With this, the state government has taken a big decision to stop exploitation of Covid infected people. Under this, the hospitals which recover more amount from the infected will be sealed for three years. If any complaint is received for any private hospital that it has taken more amount than the prescribed rate, then the license of the hospitals can also be canceled.

In the Yogi Adityanath cabinet meeting, along with giving one thousand rupees per month allowance and free ration to the poor, the people above the age of 18 years will get free vaccine.

Decision to start online classes from May 20

In the cabinet meeting, it has been decided to start online classes from May 20 in universities, degree colleges and schools. Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma said that for conducting online classes, higher educational institutions and secondary schools will not compel students whose family members are infected or they themselves are infected. Online education will also be considered from May 20 in the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, keeping in mind the infected families. Instructions are being given to all district school inspectors to monitor online classes and take strict action against the school in case of coercion. The Vice Chancellor, District Officer and District School Inspector will assess the condition of Corona in the district and allow to conduct online classes.
