Uttarakhand corona update: 7019 recoveries on 18 May

A relief news has emerged today on the coronavirus front for Uttarakhand. Today, even though 4785 people have been found coronavirus infected, 7019 people have been healthy and discharged from the hospital. The number of people beating the virus is also constantly increasing. With this, 209196 people have become recovered in Uttarakhand so far. This means that there are 76232 active cases in the entire Uttarakhand. The state recorded fewer than 100 deaths in the last 24 hours. As per the health bulletin on 18 May, 320 cases were reported in Almora, 161 in Bageshwar, 195 in Chamoli, 124 in Champawat, 1226 in Dehradun, 555 in Haridwar, 442 in Nainital, 509 in Pauri, 118 in Pithoragarh, 241 in Rudraprayag, 348 in Tehri, 372 in Udham Singh Nagar and 174 people in Uttarkashi and returned home. In total, 7019 people have recovered and discharged from the hospital today.

District wise Uttarakhand corona cases on 18 May

Today 375 vaccination sessions were held in which 23750 beneficiaries were vaccinated. 35004 samples were sent from various labs across the state for testing while results of 17125 is awaited. Presently there are 549 containment zones in the state.
